Synchronisation of physical models with very specific augmented reality content requirements.

For a pharmaceutical product advertising campaign 

LiiM was commissioned to create two identical seascape models, 1m x 2m with surreal elements telling a story of the sea as a swimming pool. The model was to be referenced from a section of footage from the advertising campaign from the company. 

The process began with Polycarving of reclaimed polystyrene pieces, then the application of a cementitious Jesmonite. We hand painted and detailed the rock surfaces and then applied a bio resin to create rock pools. We refined and painted the small 3D printed figures to match the actors cast in the promotional footage.
